UniBank is the Presenting Partner of UniSport's biggest event; Nationals Div 1 and Div 2. 

UniBank have been actively supporting universities in Australia since 1964, with sport being a major part of this. Since 2017, UniBank has been the presenting partner of the UniSport Nationals and have committed until 2021.

UniBank Leaders Scholarships

In 2021, UniBank will be awarding two $5,000 scholarships to two student athletes to support both their academic and athletic endeavours.

This is part of UniBank’s ongoing partnership with UniSport Australia and their commitment to supporting universities students. 

Known as the “UniBank Leaders Scholarship”, two scholarships, each of $5,000 in the form of a UniBank account will be awarded to two student-athletes who have displayed exemplary leadership.

Frispig activation

As part of this partnership, UniBank activate at UniSport Nationals, specialising in the ever popular Frispig. Frispig is a game designed to test the student-athletes skills by throwing a frisbee into an oversized piggy bank wit the top three at the end of each day winning cash prizes.

Throughout the 2019 Nationals Div 2 event, students were constantly present at the activation, engaging with UniBank, its staff and its products.

Managing money during the coronavirus crisis

You won’t be surprised to hear that even outside of the pandemic, many uni students are worried about their cash flow. 30% of Nationals 2019 Div 2 participants who responded to our survey questions about their top money concerns told us they often find themselves short of cash by the end of the month. Likewise, during Div 1, 34% of participants said that they aren’t saving enough.

Scammers are adapting and using digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat as forums for scams including fake online stores and the sale of fake tickets to events. Unfortunately scammers are using the spread of COVID-19 to take advantage of Australians of all ages.
